Bagels!!

I've been craving bagels ever since I moved to Kuwait but sadly there are only frozen ones.  I decided to give them a try but they didn't seem to satisfy my appetite. Therefore, I decided to bake myself a fresh batch. Here are the pictures of my delicious bagels.

Boots No7 Dry Tinted Lotion Review

 

I've been searching the market for a good tanning lotion and came across the No 7 Dry tinted lotion from Boots. I purchased the light/medium tone and it has given me a lovely golden tan. Anyways, this product is amazing! It goes on real smoothly and doesn't leave my skin greasy afterwards. I've been using this along with some SPF 50 instead of my moisturizer/foundation combo. The after color is just flawless and it actually smells pretty nice for a tanning lotion.

Starbucks

After living to Kuwait for about six months I must say that I have learned to adapt to inflated prices and abominable quality in return. I don't mean to complain negatively, but if we are being charged such hefty prices we should at least expect proper milk in our drinks. I'm sure many of you have come to realize that Starbucks in Kuwait has recently decided to switch from using fresh milk in their drinks to ultra heat treated milk. Now coming from a business background I highly understand the aspect of minimizing costs in order to increase profits, but that should only be done after being able to ensure quality. Sadly to say Starbucks in Kuwait has failed in the quality aspect yet has ensured it maintains maximizing it's profits in return.

I have recently emailed Starbucks complaining about this and hope that they will consider going back to using fresh milk.

Life in Solitary Confinement

After contemplating the idea of creating a blog over the past few weeks I finally decided to give it a go. Anyways I'll keep my first post short and sweet by introducing myself briefly. I'm an American citizen who has recently relocated to Kuwait after getting married to a Kuwaiti. Life here has been completely difficult for myself as the transition has been transcendent. I have no friends nor do I have family here. Sometimes I feel that I'm currently living in solitary confinement, hence the name of my blog. Anyways, I shall use this blog to rant and share my thoughts, ideas and the like.
